Limit? People limit themselves on re-reads? XD I think for me it's more a matter of how long I wait between re-readings. Sometimes I just re-read favorite sections of books, too, which seems like a good compromise.

Good grief, who does set a ceiling on re-reads? There are certain books that I actively choose to read only once (OHAI, Anna Karenina), but for books that I fall in love with, re-reading just...happens.

And I'm with you on the favorite sections bit too. Mmmm. :)

There are certain books that I actively choose to read only once -- oh, yes, there are those, unfortunately. :x (Not always bad, just not re-reading material.)

But it really is a horrible thought: putting a limit on reliving great stories. Eeep! *hides from thought*

Uh, yeah... what's with limits??? Limits-schlimits, I say! I've lost count of how many times I've read the Little House books, or Anne of Green Gables, or LOTR (although that ones a bit easier because I'm fairly new to it).

Limits-schlimits, I say! My sentiments, precisely! Some books are "comfort food" to me, and to tell myself said books were off-limit for reading ever again would be...tragic!
