XD I've noticed the "silver orbs" phenomenon, too. Hard to balance these things, eh? I haven't read any Forester in a while (I just ordered "Lieutenant Hornblower" from the library), so it's good to know it's perfectly in keeping with his style to pause and describe Bush's eyes. Now I can do so without compunction, and feel that I am only being very mindful of canon. *bg*
