That is so good to hear you say, because I was really trying to aim for exactly that. I mean, I know I'm reusing some of the bonding scenario type stuff from Temeraire (more of that--i.e. gratuitous reading-together-fluff--in later scenes :3), the point being that I wanted to explore the idea of bush!Dragon, not create an actual Plot. Pfft, who needs Plot, anyway, when its all about The Dragons, right? ^^
And, really, it's been more fun than I thought it would be developing Argentian as a British gentleman dragon. Additionally, Briseis and/or Pellew seem to be stealing their way in to the story, hogging much more prominent rolls than I'd imagined them having.
Oh, and did I mention that Cami's really the one responsible for this? In addition to her highly inspirational artwork, she keeps giving me these ideasincluding a third crossover idea to overlap with this one that I'm trying feebly to resist.
