Oh, such a satisfying conclusion. *loves it* Ah, Argentian, so caught up in the fight that he literally does dismiss any of his injuries...like Glenn says, "the daft creature's got a mind like bloody hound dog." *g* I loved this whole conversation between Horatio and the doctor--and his accent is so audible and awesome. (I really had to tell you that, because I know accents can be difficult, and it can be hard to tell whether they're effective, or distracting. This, very effective. *bows before your dialogue skillz0rz*)

I do think it's very open and honest--and also very sweet--that Horatio understands that Argentian might find transferring his affections to a new captain difficult. Especially since it seems he and Windamere had such an intuitive bond with one another. It's definitely as if Horatio fears he lacks the capability of forging such a deep bond, that he can't possibly be the kind of captain Windamere was, and that Argentian will be constantly finding him falling short of what he'd had before. Ah, Horatio--always so unsure. Love it.

LOL, and Argentian's very scientific eating habits. *giggles* Aww, and I love how very much he loves his medallion, and yet how very uncertain he is about actually wearing it. It is all too much sweet.

It really would be lovely to see any further stories in this 'verse, if you should ever get the time! *fangirls you shamelessly*
