*sighs happily* That ending was just perfect! It seems Horatio has managed to find the perfect gift for his dragon (not that I ever doubted it *g*). I love your Doctor Glenn! I'm sure Argentian and Captain Windamere used to make life quite difficult for him. ;-) I think I would really like Captain Windamere.
“I thought, once, it might be,” Argentian confessed, then paused to nudge Horatio's hand, for he had ceased the stroking motion as he listened to the dragon's reply. When Horatio had resumed, Argentian finished, with the simplicity of dragon reasoning: “But that was before I had met my second captain.” Awww, I so loved that scene, both Argentian's words and his insistence one being stroked! Definitely one of my favourite moments in this story! I really really hope you'll write more about those two! *puppy eyes*
